Our Objective
Our objective is to improve the quality of life for everyone, from children to senior citizens, of all races and religious background. To empower people one community at a time.
Our Motto
Teaching children that coming together is a beginning,
keeping together is progress
and working together is success.
Our Story
In every part of the World where there are people working and living, there is a City (Town or Village) that people now call a “City of Miracles.” A place where someone saw a great need for change and then did something about it.
That is exactly what (CMI) City of Miracles International is today. It started with a loving couple Todd and Kathryn Gordon answering a call to make a change. Today City of Miracles is a full community of its own; complete with volunteers, friendly smiles, workers, expenses and a tremendous heart for giving. That is the City of Miracles family.
In more practical terms…here is what we do…
- Provide Educational Materials, Supplies, Backpacks and Resources directly in the hands of children that need them the most, in communities with the most need for change and Educational Improvement.
- Connect youth and adults with the Armed Services, Community Colleges, Job Corps and Local Corporations; and seek employment, career, educational and training opportunities.
- Health and Wellness resources for youth and adults; through the participation of local County, City and Township Health Department Agencies; Cancer and Diabetes information programs, Drug Rehabilitation and Intervention programs and many more Health and Wellness organizations.
- Educational resources for adults through Community Colleges, Universities Vocational Education and Training, Skill & Application Training and Job Seeking Education and Training.
- Social Service community development for adults and their children with organizations such as Work Force Development, Community Action Partnership, the Salvation Army, ARC and Salvation Army Corporation, and many more.
- Partnership with local Religious organizations to bring a positive message and faith for the people in the community most in need.
We do all this, through a series of Festivals.
